There are many photographers whose work has had an impact on mine, either formally or conceptually, opening new perspectives of thought. Here are: Susan Meiselas, Jean-Christian Bourcart, David Goldblatt, Bruce Gilden, Larry Clark, and Denis Darzacq. I was lucky to meet those people, and they were kind enough to sit in front of my lens, even if just for a little while. Let me thank them here. A photographer, today, needs to be aware of the history of the medium, in order to find his own place in it. Everything has probably been photographed in the first years following the invention of photography, so an image today will be evaluated in comparison to those that have preceded it.
